I have 2 friends in the concrete business, they didn't seem too interested. Looking into borrowing a concrete saw, put my teenage boy to work with a sledge, line up a minimix and pay someone to float / finish it. Still weighing all the options.

I paid ~$2k for the concrete work to recess my Bendpak.
1 day to cut the whole and build the forms (two men)
1 day to set rebar and pour (three men)
And material to fill the form for the recess and repour ~3 " on top of the whole 20'x11' slab to make it nice and level it.

Don't think about a resale penalty. You can fill that whole pretty cheaply if need be.
