Omg that sucks bigtime!
Before he came, that mag was stuck in a time warp.
Hope Pete is happy, but I am certainly not.

That's kind of an effed up statement. They did it how they saw fit. Doesn't mean they were boring people. In fact, she had the respect of many.

Panorama is a team of people not just one. In fact, it's a helluva great team of people who are all committed to making the magazine even better. I'm not even talking about all the writers and photographers who have contributed some incredible stories and photographs. I'm confident that Panorama will be better a year from now than what you're reading now. PCA has always been committed to providing the members the best magazine they can.

I'm a pretty digital guy, but I LOVE receiving my Pano issue each month. It's worth the PCA membership fee alone. The cover photography is always stunning.
Hope the legacy continues!

Pete Stout.
A man of great talent as editor, as journalist, as friend, of integrity and a great teller of stories.
Good luck Pete on your next adventure. We will all be watching for you. And thanks for your encouragement. It has been vastly appreciated. The mag and its readers and I will miss you.

I am one who believes BJT was an incredible editor and contributor and a PCA AllStar Hall of Famer. When the club decided to "go big" they chose the right guy to do it. He too, is Hall of Fame. They had different constraints and limitations set by PCA and the membership. Never ever saw a boring issue of Pano under either and I am unable to see anything boring about either of the Turners.
I'm looking at the logo. It IS lower case but I'm trying to figure out what is wrong with it. If you could submit a design for those of us curious about how to improve it.
If I am not mistaken, the Turners owned a 904, as did the Smiths and probably neither ignored the value of such a rare and cool car. Congratulations on having had the experience. The closest I ever came was a 56 and then a 57 Speedster.

The PCA logo consists of:
A gray shield
with a dark gray border
with a blue (?) horse
and black and red stripes
sitting on a red shield
with a gray border
with white lower case letters
with a gray border
topped by a black bird,
with a white head,
all sitting on a blue circle,
with a gray border,
with 13 gray stars
and a white reflection/highlight,
all contained within
a white circle
with a gray border
with gray Porsche logotype
distorted into circular shape
and plain black type
for the remaining copy.
Oh, and a drop shadow behind the whole thing.

OMG! Show me! But what about tradition or ….?
I region in Ca changed their logo a few years back and changed a simple and perfect representation of who they were into a conglomeration of ugliness and confusion. What a disaster.
Can you do a rendering?
And for the record, I DO appreciate your sense of humor. I wish I had thought of it.
Carry on!
