Default I'm loving my C4S right now!

Finally had some time to get some niggly items sorted.

1. Walrod Bushings installed! - what a difference in handling. Car feels so much tighter in cornering and no more front steering shake

2. Trim Rings installed - sure adds some nice bling to the center cluster

3. Paint and interior detail - I'm sure it added 10 hp!

4. C2S split grille - painted to match Ocean Blue Metallic and love my *** even more!

5. Removed my 19's - yes, should have listened to the experts here but the 19's with low profile tires are too harsh. Back on the hunt for aftermarket 18" deep dish wheels.

<<<<<<Anyone want my 19's with 4 month old Pirelli P-Zeros? Pay the shipping from Dubai and they are yours for $1400. Shipping shouldn't be more than $350 or $400.

Ahhh...life is good. Off to watch Felix Baumgartner do his epic skydive/freefall! Godspeed.

I think you mean HER ***. And, yes, a painted c2s grill is da bomb! Better than the gold grill binky my kid had:

Nice list of mods. What kind of wheels do you have in mind?

Glad you decided to keep her. What was involved, labor and cost wise, with the split grill change ? I'm thinking of doing the same but have read different things about best options. Post some pics of the Baumgartner event !

Yup HID's should be on the way to the in-laws who arrive here on Nov.4th as our little guy is due.

Split grille was bought used and the local dealer here tidied it up and put a new coat of paint on it as the prior color seemed to be Midnight Blue. Cost for paint and labour was $160...very worthwhile.

I'll post pics tomorrow...

Probably feels like a new car! I finally got to test out my suspension upgrades on a fun run in the mountains last week-it was a great feeling.

Glad you're ditching the 19's-your car will look even better, along with ride improvement.

Can you post the size of the wheels, the brand, and the size and condition of the tires. Any idea on the cost to ship to California (zip is 95062)?

How about BBS LM's or RUF 18's. I'm thinking to make the switch myself but I always wanted 19 inch on my 993!

Thought about BBS LM's with the face reversed but look at the attachment BBS kindly sent me below. Not a great idea.

Now looking at deep dish polished wheels and I'm presently looking for 18's. 19's are too harsh a ride for my liking when paired with my H&R Coilovers. I've gone back to stock wheels and its day and night feeling on the same roads!

Thanks for the info - much appreciated!

Did you also have sway bars installed with your coilovers and 19's? I've heard these can also contribute to a harsh ride also.

No swaybars - yet. I'm planning to place an order with H&R shortly (26mm fronts and 24mm rear).

Here's the split grille for those who PM'd me:
