So I bought a used CDC-3 to replace my current one. Both have empty cartridges (magazines) in them, and both fail to eject the magazine. The radio (a CDR-1) works fine otherwise, and I double checked all cables - to radio and CDC-3. It is possible the replacement (used) CDC-3 is faulty in the same fashion, but when I hook it up to the car and press the eject button, the system goes through its click-click-click routine...but then does not eject.

Is it possible the radio is at fault, or should I just continue to look for a really working CDC-3?? Does anyone have one that recently demonstrated it will work and will eject the magazine, and is for sale??
