Very nice driving for sure!

Does he not look just crammed into the driving position ? - his knees are almost hitting the steering wheel, looks like he has very long legs...

Cheers,

Mike

Seen it before and my thoughts haven't changed.

It looks like he is the only one that thinks there is a race on considering how he passed what looked like a 904 (at 1:28) and then that old E-type (at 2:37) passing it halfway on the grass. Bit of an ***!

I did not watch it all, but you are right -> that left hand pass of the Jag was very questionable, he is risking both cars doing that.

Especially since the Jag had the right of way coming out of the corner and was passing that red car to the right of it.

I would not have much patience with a driver like that if he hit my 993. I can only hope he has good dental insurance.

The only time I have ever had to saw at the wheel that much is when I broke a front sway bar link while in first place and I just wanted to stay there till the checkered. That is a ton of steering inputs.

I had a racer I coached last year that had the same style. He already fast, but by getting rid of the sideways style he ran his fastest lap ever on old tires. When I had a pro coach and I did the same thing he told me to stop doing that unless I am in trouble !!!!!!! Still fun to watch.

It looked like an "Oldtimer Day" with an incredible disparity of vehicles. Similar opinion to others, this guy needs some track manners. They don't give prizes for being stupid. Agree about sawing the wheel. Recently had a student doing the same thing while driving at 7/10ths. Asked him why he was doing it and the reply was "That's what the Formula 1 drivers do". Geeeeeeeeeeeezzzz!

wow...that was like watching in car WRC rally footage-on a wet gravel stage for christ sake! Looked like the "scandinavian flick" about a dozen times, that dood takes his hands off the wheel waaaay too much for someone sawing at wheel like that.

If I recall that's a 68 or 69 and obviously setup uber loose... maybe he just likes it that way? Agree his turn-in inputs are a wee bit overwrought. He's catching what he's throwing.
