1 headlight out
I have one headlight out. Replaced the bulb. Still nothing. Realized both low and high beam are out. I checked fuses and they look OK. Hi & low are on seperate fuses as well as left and right.
ANy suggestions? Is there a relay I am missing? There are 4 pins on the connector? which ones should I check for power

I don't know if this is helpful, but I had the same problem. When I bought the car a few months back the PO said he had the bulb replaced. I drove it for a few days and then the same bulb was dead again.
I took the headlight housing out and took the bulb out as well and looked at it. For some reason, the retaining clip that keeps the bulb in was coming loose. After some time bending and fiddling with it, I got it to fit over the back of the bulb tight. After that, I had no problems with the light.

This is another of those "typical" problems with 993s. The heat from the headlamp gradually weakens the wire retention clip and allows the bulb to back away from the seat...No contact...No light.
Once it starts there's little you can do other than replace the wire clips or use fine wire to tie the clips firmly in place.

there is an additional square clip thingy that "theoretically" holds the springclip in place on the low beam bulb.. Somebody will throw a part number up...I have a spare, but have no frickin idea where I put it. I had a problem with my front right headlight, weak clip...and crappy harness connection.
Now that those two issues are settled, the aftermarket HID (DDM) ignitor sometimes needs a second strike to light.
Gotta have drama from somewhere, right?
