Hey, it was just an idea. I see that most of you are not interested but at least some some can appreciate my effort.
I like the clear sides suggestion and having LEDs up a little higher is good. I imagine these spars are easily removed and replaced with OE whenever, 20 min job. Combined with HID headlamps to match the color temp and you have a more modern look for fun, just saying. You can save those fog lights for later. My car had one broken (driver's side) when I bought it and I broke one last year, same side.
I agree that sometimes seeing many of the newer high end cars with all types of curved leds strings is a little annoying, but it is just the current trend in cars. We may laugh about this later.
The air ducts have never worked for me, I can't explain it. What is worse IMHO, is having OE fog lights combined with the clear sides (plastic next to glass) is not right.
I have even painted the fog light reflectors chrome/silver, which I feel look better than white.
Thanks for the feedback.

Michael - you always run the risk of ridicule when requesting an opinion on a public forum. Don't take it personally. I doubt anyone here meant any harm. I think we were just responding based on how it would look on our own cars. Many 993 owners prefer the classic look. Heck, that classic look is why I bought 993s instead of the more modern, faster 911s. So don't take it to heart, okay?
Post up pics of your net result. I know I for one am curious. Do keep one thing in mind -making your car look different from other black 911s makes it easier for the cops to catch you speeding. Lol.

You know what it is John? He doesn't have a basket handle and is trying to compensate.

Oh. Sorry - you were standing in front if it. Well, then it's solved. Your car is perfect as is.
