1. Not sure what to tell you on the lowering project. It's like asking "what oil do you use", everyone will answer differently! IME, most will tell you that OEM Euro MO30 shocks and springs are the way to go, but it's spendy for sure. Outside of that, it seems that Koni FSD's with H&R have earned themselves a pretty good reputation. Lots like Bilstein, but seems they are a little harsher than most like.

2. Euro Rear Corners pricey? Come on Audi boy, You should know by now that you need to call Sunset! I bought them ~6 months ago for $200/ea.

3. Don't know how to help you with the xenons here. Never done the aftermarket thing with those.

4. Wide ovals are available from a variety of sources, but I think you'll find that FD Motorsport is a friend to you and your 993:

http://fdmotorsports.net/993-exhaust-tips-wide-ovals

5. If you want to go sans airbag, a good OEM option is the RS Steering wheel.....spendy, but oh-so nice! If you want to keep the airbag, then the 3-spoker from a 996 is a bolt-in deal.

6. Mufflers? See #4 above ^ ..... Fister Stage II is what I had on my C2 and they sound simply magical!!! No flames, but ohhhhhhh that sound!!!

http://fdmotorsports.net/fister-exhaust-993-stage-2

7. Can't help with the immobilizer removal, but I am 99% sure that it's more effort and $$$ than it's worth. Deal with it son!

GREAT to have you aboard Paul! You are a FANTASTIC addition to ANY forum!
BEN! HA!

I'm such a dolt, it didn't even cross my mind you'd be here - sweet! Just like old times heh heh.

Thanks for the responses, very helpful. I'm on it! 8-)

Love the tease of the PPE in your avatar, and the 356 is lookin good.

I'll try to behave mahself here... who'm I kidding no I won't. INSTIGATOR!

These are the mods I'm considering, hope they help:

- Bilstein HD/ROW M033 suspension - a good combo to lower the ride height, improve handling and maintain a similar ride to what you have now. The M033 is a good spring for Cabs due to their less rigid structure (vs the M030)
- Walrod Bushings to tighten up the steering
- SSK/Goldenrod from FD Motorsports to improve the shifting
- Front Strut Brace (Schnell or other)
- M030 Sway Bars

Hope that helps!
Thanks for those suggestions, much appreciated. I'm not offended by the steering or the shifting, tho a front brace is def in my future.

Is your top tan, and tan gut? Very opulent combo. I agree, most tops are black on Arena cars it seems.

It's funny on my silver, it's grey in some lights, and in certain lights it has hints of chocolate in it - I really dig how both the top and the paint can vary amongst many different shades depending on the light. It's just sexxxaaaaaay IMO.

TLights for HIDs - easy install, work great

I am in Denver as well if you want to meet so you can hear and view my setup...
Sorry if I confuzed you - car was from Cherry Hill area out your way, I am in CT - thanks for the offer tho!

Yeah, amber rear indicators are polarizing - I dig 'em, I find red indicators too Cadillac 8-).

Appreciate the other suggestions!

Thanks again guys - I can already tell you all are a more fun bunch then years ago on the 930 board here. Not sure what the deal was there, they were a bit too stuffy for me I guess. Seems like a lot of cool gamers here who like to have fun.

1st Q... my 930 had the options sticker under the trunklid, I've found nothing such here. Hoping I'll jack the sucker up and be pleasantly surprised w/ LSD... somehow I'm doubting it tho.

thanks gents!

So Darin, I assume you are the "Fister" of all these Fister exhaust suggestions?

Got a link to an online store?

The FB vid link of the Stage III sounds incredulous... tho... a bit agressive for a stock cab. Got any vids of Stage I or II?

is there any market to sell my OE boxes?

ps. YOUR CAR looks GREAT in THOSE COLORS!!!!! 8-) wowzers...

Yes, that is me. I think Stage IIs with stock cats is an excellent combo. Not over the top load....just perfect! That's what I have on my blue cab.
If you core exchange your stock mufflers for my modified ones, the price is quite resonable

thanks Tony - yeah Arena is just a terrific color... I really really wanted "a color" this time... no more guards / black / silver (still love those just don't want another) so this worked out really great

Hey Todd... unfort you / I are @ polar opposite corners of the state... I'm 20mi northeast of Hartford, 10mi before UCONN.

It's Tolland, my "location" is just a cheezy play on werds 8-)... mostly b/c I'm most definitely in my own little world...
