Default Climate Control Unit (CCU) repair

Anyone used ECU Doctors (Florida) or ASI (Tennessee) for CCU rebuilds?
If so, any comments?

Any other sources you know of?

Loren @ Systems Consulting would be my first choice!

Thanks Jason and HFD.
ASI's site makes it clear what their services and prices are; Systems Consulting not so much, sent Loren an email and no response yet.

Indie is installing new passenger side fan today; once done, that's the last thing to be replaced before going to rebuilt CCU if it doesn't cure the HVAC ills.

I just used ECU Doctors in Florida. I was quoted about half the cost of Systems Consulting (350 vs 550) . I dropped it off and got the unit back in 2 hours and it works great and they warranty the unit for 5 years. They have two on Ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-993-...536e2e&vxp=mtr

and their website is at http://www.ecudoctors.com/

Hi Tore and MB.
Sorry Tore, this is the first I had seen your question.
And thanks for the CCU ref, MB.

HVAC system is pretty well sorted; replaced a couple of servos and the passenger side front blower. Took CCU apart per Tore's guidance....all looked spiffy in there and I had reached the limits of my diagnostic skills so I put it back together.

Except for the driver side footwell servo everything is working fine. I have that servo kinda on manual mode and will chase it's problems again when I have more time.

What a pleasure to have controlled heat and cooling again.
