Default Picture of 19" carerra sport wheels on 993 WB

Hello,

Been searching high and low for a picture of a 993 with 19" carerra sport wheels. I thought "Barney 993TT" had some a while ago.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you! After looking at the pictures, I need to take off my rear spoiler. :-)

Default new picture

Sorry, another crappy, grainy picture. Will take some better ones soon.

New shoes! Thanks Denis! Great fit. Running 235/35 and 305/30/19 with 5mm spacers in the rears.

I want those same wheels for my Vesuvius c2s , but I think my turbo s spoiler is going to throw them off just by looking at this yellow car

I think I know what you mean, but it looks better in person. I will try to take some better pictures in the next couple of days when the car is cleaned and find a better background.

Timely thread... A buddy of mine just emailed me saying he has a set of 19" Carrera S Wheels for 996/997 that he is trying to sell.

If anyone is interested, pm me and Ill put you in touch (I don't know much more about them)

Anything to share regarding ride, performance loss due to additional weight, etc?
Looks great!

The ride is similar to my 993tt wheels. Car feels more stable/less wandering with my 19" but turn ins are not as quick/fast. Got new potenza s04s, awesome grip.

Are the spacers required or would they bolt up as is?

I happen to have a set of these wheels and never even contemplated putting them on the 993. Right now they are on my Cayman S. The look is awesome...I can see a project in my future.

No spacers needed, went for looks. Your wheels are 10 or 10.5" rears versus mine are 11
.5". Either way, both offsets work.

^^ I think the wider rears look BUSINESS!! I guess the spokes are a little bit more concave!

Nice choice of wheels!

I like it! Wasn't so sure about modern wheels on the 993 but you made it work, I think the graphite color works very well with your Speed Yellow.
