What did you do for temporary tags?
I kept the tags from CA with the signed over title to travel home then get it registered in NS.

We have a great run planned for October on the South Shore, you should join us!!! Check out the dates on the Porsche Web Site, Acadia Region.

Default Day 5 Cheyenne to Omaha, Nebraska. . .

By the way, I found out the secret to getting my pictures published. . . .patience!!!

Well today was another blast!!! We had a great run on mostly flat roads. There were some very interesting places along the way including the World Headquarters for Cabelas, and Wind Farms everywhere - very good use of basically ranch land for raising cattle, looked too rough for farming.

Got a wave today from a police officer who pased us going over 80. We were cruising at 78 - 79 in a 75 MPH Zone - pretty cool! Better than a Citation any day!!!

Lost another hour today, we are now in the Central Time Zone (CST) and have a short drive to my office tomorrow in Iowa. Work for the afternoon - YUUK!!! - and then off on Friday to Michigan.

Still havin' fun, how can you beat it in a 911!!!

I over stuffed the front boot and had an alarm issue but help from my buddy Chuck and the Porsche Dealer in Omaha who did the checkup for free!! Thanks so much, it was much appreciated. between Chuck and the Dealer. I think we have solved this little issue by removing some stuff. One item was a bottle of wine so we consumed that with dinner. . . and so far everything is working well!!!

Until we meet again. . .

Later. . .

Think we saw one leaving Cheyenne. Boy, those critters are sure hard to get on camera! We've heard they are a sign of good luck.

Default Day 6 Omaha, Nebraska - Pella, Iowa

Another great day on the road. The senery is getting greener with a few \ hills and valleys / however the traffic has increased making for more attention to the road. I is transport heaven!!!!!!

Lots of wind turbines, corn and soy bean fields, new John Deere combine harvesters and transport trucks, which are like bull dozers - don't get in their way!

Have you ever been the meat in a transport Ssndwich? Check out the pics - front and rearview mirror.

A visit to the Book Vault in Osky (an old bank), coffee at Smokey Row and a relaxing afternoon at the grandstand kept Joanne busy while I put in a few hours catching up on work.

Dinner with Bryan & Cindy finished off another great day on the road, but not before we took a spin around Pella and checked out the old style windmills where a local asked, "Did you drive all the way from California in that?" Yes! "Was it comfortable?" Yes!!!!!!!

The days are passing much too quickly. We're already three quarters of the way to Toronto and half way to home.

All for now.

Later. . . . . .

Yikes!

It is not a good idea to leave the bra on wet. It's a big no-no. The felt holds the water and clouds the paint underneath.

Sorry.

But I'd imagine driving at highway speeds all day in the hot summertime sun would dry it all out pretty quick, no?

+ 993 THAT IS A BIG NO NO !! Clouds the paint ( heat n dampness ) and grime does get under the bra . It needs to come off at the end of every day !

Cheers Guy

This looks like a great time! One of the lingering regrets when I bought my car is that I found it about 15 miles away; I was kind of hoping to find one on the other coast so I'd have no other choice than to take some vacation time and drive across the country.
