removing cartridge from dead CDC-3
ok, so I have searched in vain for a simple explanation of how to get the damn cartridge out of the CDC-3. And there may be a DIY, but I am denied access I think becasue I have not paid for the special subscription. Any advice?
(Yes, it is conceivable the cable to the CDR-210 has twisted and broken when I removed the radio recentl, but this seems unliklely since I am really careful and had installed the cable myself years ago, so knew what was where. Finally, the CDC-3 itself "died" in two stages- first it tried to load a CD (CD6) and just got hung up "loading" for about five tries. Then it just said CD MAG(azine) NONE. Rest of CDR-210 is perfect.
