Thanks, Howdy. While I have no issues waiting, is there a charged coil or something which means the air bag should not be removed for the 30 minutes? That is, what am I waiting for?

How are you going to get the attention of hot chicks with out the horn ? Third most important reason to have a horn.
I pulled my fuse as well, and added this to the list of items to deal with..
You should be able to place a small piece of cardboard in the gap as a stop gap measure. It keeps the airbag from moving forward when you brake or shift, but also allows the horn to work with a little more pressure. Common 996 "mod".

Oh, for gosh, sakes. Here's a quick snap I took of my wife and her car (the horny car).
Because so many ask, this pic was taken about half way between Chama, NM and Pagosa Springs, CO on the connector road.

I know that road well - I lived in Los Alamos for several years and drove the hell out of my cab on that road and others. Great country, great roads and great weather for a cab.

OK. Thanks. I had no idea there was a cap but looking at it, it should have been obvious to me.
As to that road, if you guys are in the area and miss it, you are missing a major sight but lightly traveled route.
