I'm with you twice the price of a 996 TT - most 993 prices make absolutely no sense whatsoever!!

Had the very same thought; Cashmere . . ? not really.

This car doesn't appear to have much in the way of options. Ok,,, paint to sample, which was in MY98 a $3600 dollar option IIRC.

A 1-owner (EDIT more than one onwer) MY98 C2S w/12K miles with a single "paint to sample" option and not much more equals $90K something? I don't get it.

Totally subjective but I never saw the appeal of Riv. Blue paint. Obviously many disagree with me as reflected by the bidding. GLWS

8 days out and already closing in on $100k. Sheer madness. Love the Riv blue and low miles. Absolutely can't stand the interior color. (What was the original owner thinking?) If a little hype, low miles and a cool color get a 993 over the $100k mark more power to the seller. It's also a nice comp for all of us 993 owners as well. Eager to see this sale play out

I don't see how this sale is a comp for anyone on planet Earth.

We'll see what the end bidding is and whether this is real or not. I agree, seems way out there (pricewise) for this car.

I believe 100% it's real. Chris has his dream car ready to buy and needs these funds to be applied towards it.

I think the only question is the final number it sells for in auction or buy it now, whatever he chooses.

$100K and reserve is off folks. Love the bidding history of the person. In the last 30 days he/she has bid on 3 t-shirts and a $100K C2S. Hope this is legit for the seller's sake.
