Too bad! The one picture in the link with the door open shows what looks to be a black interior rather than the more common grey or burgundy (there were some cars that had different interiors but most were grey tri-tone or burgandy tri-tone). 99.3% sure this one has a black interior, I'll double-check soon.

You are right. It was me. The resto has been completed. I could post some pictures but I am naturally very reluctant to do so as it is a BMW and this is a Porsche-only forum.

It was something called "Cosmoline". It is still around on places like eBay.
