Never was (still not) a guy that liked flashy things or trying to bring attention to myself, but....after getting my SY I feel like I wouldn't want any other color. Its always a like a bright spot of sunshine and makes you smile on 'grey' of days.

Much to learn about this board, grasshopper. Wishing the best for you.

Open, steel lugs are required for the track so you can ascertain if a nut is loose.

That is _exactly_ what I think and feel about my SY cab.

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say that I think silver wheels look better on Speed Yellow than black wheels.

To the OP, SY it's the best color

Black wheels on RJT car is one of the sexiest cars I've ever put my eyes on.

I'm a huge fan of SY and GR with black trim and wheels, but then the classic look of silver never gets old either. I just put black wheels on my GR 993TT, and I can't stop from looking in the garage for my peep show.

Thanks Mark! Actually the reason the fia states for the steel nuts (as well as the reason you gave) is the aluminum/alloy ones can break under very heavy cornering and extended abuse, I had this very conversation with a marshall at the ring years ago......Ref the alloys if they are not Porsche original, ruf, fuchs, techart, speedline, rays or compomotive it would be unlikely I would have ever heard of them as my customers tend to like the aformentioned fitted to their classic/modern cars. They are nice though!

Nile, thats impossible! You stick out like a sore thumb with that skullcap on!

That was a joke ok so put your toys back in your pram! lol!

Sorry, guy, your jokes are as difficult to understand as your non-jokes so far.

Sure, I thought it was obvious to everyone that steel nuts are stronger than aluminum, so I didn't feel like typing that out on my iPhone.

Nishil,

If I had half a set of ballz, I'd have gotten Speed Yellow. Years ago, when I was a poor medical student, I used to run by the local Porsche dealer (mid 90s, MAG in Dublin, OH) and absolutely drool over the 993s. However, it was always Speed Yellow I was really in love with. After selling my Victory Red 2008 Corvette convertible prior to getting my 96 C4S in Polar Silver, i was gun shy about loud colors. If it speaks to you, go for it!!!!!
