So you were able to get the A/C belt tension into the range of 15-18 Kg
(30-35 increments)? That would be good to know. I have a new set of belts
ready to install but would like to confirm the setting for the A/C belt.
Mine measures right now at 25 Kg and it has 23k miles on it. Was installed
by Porsche when I bought the car. I'm trying to determine ahead of time
whether or not I can set it for 15-18 Kg or to expect it will be higher like it is
now. If it is going to be high like 25 Kg, then I want to try and determine if that
is acceptable and within the operating range for the A/C unit. Don't want
to wear out the bearings there by over-tensioning the belt.
