The key itself is conventional, and has no electronics. Probably available from any key shop. The key fob, however, must be matched to the car and requires programming. probably a dealer item.

Programming instructions are on Rennlist and in the Porsche Repair Manual.

programming them yourself is possible but many (including myself found it difficult). meanwhile since you are in So Oregon do you get to Bend? Carrera Motors in Bend programmed my fob no charge - took 2 minutes. Sunset (where I bought the fob) wanted 30 min of shop time. Carrera is a great dealer (and many of the Porsche dealers are not that great). I sure miss driving Oregon roads! enjoy your Porsche!!! You know pics are required of your new car - congrats!!!!
