glad i bought a higher mileage car

In my opinion, I'd say, at this stage of the game, anything over 100K would be considered 'higher' mileage, and 150K would definitely be considered 'high' mileage.

If you think of our 993s as "cars" (gasp), and the average car is driven something like 10,000 to 12,000 miles per year. So, our ~16 year-old cars would have an average of 160,000 miles. High mileage is above that. Gee, I better go and drive Rufus a bit more (132,000 miles).

Ha- that isn't very high at all!
When I was looking back in 2004, I wanted a car with under 60k on teh clock. I ended up settling on one with 76k and its currently at 106k. I'm glad I went higher mileage- I would hate to have a car that couldn't be driven without concern for decreasing its value. Once I hit 100k, I take the 993 anywhere I want. Just got back from its first out of state excursion in 8 years!

Wait, how do you get from 10 to 222kph in 0/10ths of a km?
I bought mine with 122k miles at the start of June and now have 126k, she goes everywhere with me because life is too short to drive boring cars.
For base-model-Camry money I'll buy this car again every time.

68k? Just a baby! Keep on driving it; I'd wager the people who put a lot of miles on their car have far fewer problems per mile than the garage queens, with the fringe benefit of REALLY enjoying their 'investment.'
