Default glad i bought a higher mileage car

I picked it up with 64k miles on April 1 this year. Just noticed the odometer is going to turn 68k tonight. I can't stop driving it!

68k----it's barely broken in!

I can't stop driving mine either. My gas bill is over $400 a month!

good job...gotta take advantage of the driving season here in the NorthEast. I've had my 4S since Memorial Day weekend 2010-63k when I got it, at 88K and counting. I'll be solid into the 90's before the season is over.

I just did over 1600 miles of driving in the last week +, 5 hours out to vacation with the family, then 6(to Pa)+2(to Md.)+3 1/2(to WV) hours straight to meet up with some other hoodlums here. Then two days later...8 hours home.

Enjoy, it never gets old.

Way to go, JHG. Having a few miles under the tailpipes makes it easier to put more on it. I'm looking forward to putting the miles on my car like some guys on this list have!

Hi

High mile?.... would have been with a 70's car and 70's gas and oil quality, but not these day's. Lol.

You may have avoided some items the previous owner paid for as well:
Brakes,
Tranny Synchros,
Struts,
Steering Rack,
Valve lifter cartridges,
Tires,
Clutch and the list goes on!

^^^^This is why I bought the car I bought. Already had most of that done!!!

My prior '86 911 was purchased with 175k on it, neither engine nor tranny ever opened (except for clutch). Ran just fine and was a blast to drive. I sold that about 6 years too soon... (6yrs = length of my "Porsche gap" before I got the 993).
