High $30's - Low $40's for a 60k mile C2S with carfax story is the right range for selling the car without wasting much time and going through too much BS. The right buyer will know that carfax history is often undependable and erroneous. Having the 60K service done will be a plus but you'll never get your money back. Life's short, price it to sell and move on.......

Very true, not much.
I used to drive the car a lot more. About 3 years ago on the way home from the airport (I'm a captain for Delta) I was hit by a drunk in my cherry 1998 M3 four door. Car totaled, back injured.
Ever since then I've been a bit paranoid about driving the 993. I never drive it to work anymore.
Sold my motorcycle as well so I am thinking convertible. Something less expensive and using the leftover $$ towards a bigger sailboat. We are about to be empty nesters and my wife enjoys sailing too.

Nice boat! I've kept complete records on the car since I bought it and it is due the service, so I though I'd get it done.
The same economy that will hurt me selling the 993 will help with a bigger boat, so I guess it's a wash.

.
That's what I did when I sold my '97 C2S awhile ago. I'm sure it sweetened the deal and made for a quick sale.

Ha! Years ago I sailed for a Delta Team in the International Airline Regatta in the BVI's. One of my more memorable vacations!

Delta is my main airline, especially with a Detroit hub. You guys are great.
One question. I have always wondered about the landing styles.
Smooth as silk, dont even know your down- Air Force vet.
Slammer to the pavement- Navy
or is it just the wind conditions etc?
Curious minds want to know

Thanks for the compliment. It's a pretty good company to work/fly for.
Lots of variables involved, weather and winds certainly being two of them. Rather than air force/navy it's more fighter/ transport as to your background. After a few years in the airlines the differences blur.
The type of aircraft has a lot to do with it though. The old 727 NEVER landed the same way twice. It kept you humble!

Sorry for the long delay y'all. We moved our daughter ( and only child) off to college last week so it was a busy/emotional week. I sent the 993 to my mechanic for its 60k and it's back. It got new valve covers as the originals were not sealing perfectly. Also replaced the alarm control module to fix an intermittent non-functioning remote locking problem.
She's got a clean bill of health now. I'm going to get some better pics and move this story to the official FS column next week.

Just dropped the price on the FS forum, $43750.
Somebody buy it before I decide to keep it. It's looking so good after the detail I'm starting to think I might need to keep it around.

An elderly gentleman rolled into me from behind at a light. Maybe a 1mph bump, but a cop saw it happen. Because he was really to old and feeble to be driving the cop wanted it documented. I agreed, but of course now it shows up.
It scuffed the rear bumper overriders. A little black rubber restorer took care of that.
If this makes you uneasy I encourage a PPI. It'll show no damage took place. Also you can check out my EBay profile, Reynard 38. 100% positive with several bikes and cars sold.

Nice. So no rear bumper removal or repaint?

How many years have you owned the car and how many miles were on it when you purchased it from original owner?

No, the bumper was not removed, and no paint work.
I bought the car 8 years ago. It had 30k then. The previous owners widow placed the car with a consigner after it sat for a few months in the garage. That's who I purchased it from. I immediately replaced the battery and had the 30k service done.
