Default Dansk WB wide oval tips

Hi guys,

Came across this today while looking for a source for WB Wide oval tips . These are made by Dansk, and are rolled edges and slanted (new?), but still way cheaper then the OEM ones. Inlet pipe seems to be straight cut and offset in the inside of the outlet pipe. (cheaper and easier than the slanted OEM pipe.)

Anyone have these installed ? Any photos ?

Can't add much value on the Danske but I do have experience with the after market oval tips.

My experience has been they don't fit the diameter of the back bumper cutout very well, which causes them to have hot spots in the paint and cause bubbling.
Total buzz kill to save a few bucks can cost alot bigger problems.

Disclaimer: could be just me and my experience, but can't hurt to share

But those arent the same as in the link, the angle cut ones look so much better when on the car as they follow the bumper shape

Exactly. Are the angle cut ones only available in the U.K.?

Not a fan of the rolled edge in either of those Dansk designs. IMO FDM sells the best aftermarket tips for the 993.

I love my FDM widebody tips BUT there are many folks here that prefer the rolled lip and shorter amount that the angle cut Dansk tips stick out from the bumper reveal .. maybe because they look more 'factory'? Can't say ...

Anyway, calling Mr. Pervy! Hey bud, do you know anybody who's actually ordered some from Type 911 U.K. and verified that they are indeed like the picture on their website and not the 'straight' cut that the u.s. seems to be stuck with? We are angle cut challenged over here ya know ...

I had Dansk before and sold them to a lister. They look good, but are not balony cut and are rolled, so it's a different lookf from OEM.

Taken from the Dansk catalog. Not the exact photo for C4S, they reused the photo from the NB tips.

Yes .. and it says 'Angle Cut to follow the bumper' no question. And this picture is definitely angle cut with an offset muffler exit hole ..

Please post what you get from them .. when they arrive .. hopefully you get what they're advertising!
