"M413 18" Turbo Look Wheels" is the only one I can think of... That option shows as standard on the C4S build sheet and it won't be on the trunk sticker.

Also a lot of times wheels (as well as stereos back then) fall under dealer installed options and won't show on a sticker.

No. But they are heavier.

I'm not sure if this is the case where you guys are from, but most (recently all) of the few C2S's that come up for sale over here in Australia are tiptronics, where as (I think) they only made the C4S in manual. This has significant implications for price over here- tips are a lot cheaper now.

If I had to choose between the two models ( I don't since I have a c4s) this would probably a major factor in helping me decide.

Sorry just re-read my last post and it was not clear.

What I was trying to say is that there is no availability in manual c2s, so I'd end up going for the c4s

Bought my C4S some 7 years ago for AUD103k.... Think I've lost close to nothing on it in that time. I just drove it today again after 2 years away.... Boy does it still look as beautiful as it did in its day, but technology has moved so far now that I can honestly say it feels very very old in terms of performance and handling. But I still love to cruise in it. Won't ever sell it as it remains my holiday cruiser whenever I'm in Australia on my breaks, and I'd rather keep my money in this car than in stocks...

I have driven a Tiptronic '98 C4S. I don't know if they sent any to Australia, but they do exist.

Perhaps it was a later conversion, all 993 AWD cars originally came with the G64 gearbox from the factory.

Are you sure it hasn't been rebadged? I am 100 percent sure there was never a 4wd 993 full stop. Porsche did not make a 4wd tiptronic gearbox.

Tiptronic only came out in 4wd with the 996 series. This is 100 percent gospel fact.

Haha...just had to with the recent "Don't Sell your '97 - '98 C2S thread.
Couldn't agree more... and midnight blue/cashmere is a sweet color combo

Never get tired of looking at it, washing it and of course -- driving it.

This is entirely possible, as I didn't get under it to look. All I did was program the remotes for it.
