The darker shade of wheels looks great. I thought about maybe doing something like that with a spare set of hollow spokes like the wheels on the TurboS.

Thanks for all the positive comments guys..The wheels have been
powder coated with the intention to imitate the darker silver Turbo S hollows like on
Magdaddy's car. The powder-coater ended up doing a few shades darker. They are a
gunmetal with a warm gray metallic to them. In certain light they have a
bronze tint. I love them. Here is another pic before I mounted the tires, you can
see the colour better:

nice car and nice new pics jakob. Love the wheels and I cant wait till the pss10 install is documented on your site, Im looking forward to it bigtime.

You should take a moment to get them on the car so you can enjoy the car at pss10 height for some of the summer driving time. Best of luck and thanks for your help in the past. Take care

Most 993's have different spacing (offset) between the guards and the wheels on the back.
This according to Porsche Germany is due to build tolerances with the manufacturing of the cars.
Have not see another make of car with this offset, with respect left and right wheels.

Lopro..no worries my friend!!! I wish the install would only take a moment...
I'm anticipating an all weekend affair. I'm also installing the Walrod LCA
bushings, and it will be my first Porsche suspension, so it's unexplored
territory. (And thus, a daunting task!). I think 2nd weekend in July, I'm
going to roll up the sleeves, put it on stands, and plunge in! (With
my buddies, some beer, and cameras in hand of course!!)

Great looking wheels! I might like them even better than the black RUF's!

Great looking finish. I have 996 hollows for my track wheels, with MPSC tires on them. Every time I pick one up I'm impressed by how light they are in comparison with the stock 993 rims with PS2s.

right on, Cant wait, Sounds like its going to be a good review.

I know the suspension install will be lots of fun, Once you install the PSS10's your going to be fighting the mod bug even more. Resistance is futile, Just spend and borrow all you can get.

Did you already do the Golden Rod and short shift kit?

I wish I could comeby and watch the install. Have you rounded up all the beers, tools and parts for the job?

I would be most interested in how the rear drop links are set up after the PSS10 upgrade.
