Default Some snaps of the C4S

Went out driving last weekend – what else is new?! – and stumbled on a cool
location to snap a few shots. (Car is filthy. Lots of bugs have been killed ~ as per Porsche's credo.)

Anyway, first shots of the car rocking my powdercoated 996TT Hollow spokes. Suspension is stock for now. Enjoy!

Cool location. The offset on your wheels doesn't look right. Maybe it is the angle of some of the pictures but they look too far inside the wheel well.

I'm thinking a 1/2-1" drop of the body will fix some of that issue. Drop it like its hot, Bowman!

Looks great Jakob!

The wheels look fine...the car is simply missing the stance. Drop it buddy!

Thanks guys..I think the offset isn't perfect because the car is at SUV height.
Once it's dropped a bit they will fill the wheel wells better.. I am tossing around
the idea of adding a 5mm spacer in the rear to push them out a little too.

PSS10 install is coming..I need motivation to stop driving the car for a weekend
and tackle it. Realistically, I probably won't get to it until end of June beginning
of July..

Beautiful, those TT rims look great. Is that what Canadian license plates look like after a few Molsons?

You're welcome! We like helping other spend their hard earned money! Resistance is futile...or so I've found....

Have you done a black/white filter on that pic? that would look pretty cool I think....or b/w with only the red in the caliper left. Def a cool location.

LOL, the PSS10s were the first component I bought when I wiped-out on the slippery slope of slipperiness in December. They're sitting in a box until I'm ready to roll up my sleeves!

Thanks!! Only a portion of the photo is black and white..the rest is colour, but desaturated a bit.. The pics on my website however are all black/white with the execption of the ambers, tails and red calipers which I left in colour..LOVE that look!

Those 996 TTS rear wheels fit perfect on a WB, I don't even think a 5mm will be needed after your drop it (again depends how much drop too).

A few of my local friends are dropped on the 996 TT wheels, rear looks great, I think the fronts could use a 5mm spacer if your picky.

Drop it first and then decide and yes great shots!

Here's my WB with the hollow spokes at SUV height and the right height Lowered thanks to Rennlisters USERA and MrBonus.

I like the color contrast of the darker grey...what color is that?

wheels look great...like Academitech asked, what color are they?

I have 05 996 TTS wheels on my C4S, they are a darker color than those in Academitech's pic.

I don't run spacers, have 225 fronts, and 295 rears. Spacers will depend on your amount of drop, tire width, and subsequent camber. I have modest camber settings because of the mileage I put on the car.

Looking good...just wait to you get the suspension set.

Joe, I think they're closer to gun metal grey, slightly darker than yours. I had a low mile '98 C2S that had a same color to the aluminum shifter and E-Brake handle as your hollow spokes. I think yours were powder coated at some point as most of the 996 TT's I've seen have a similar silver tone that mine have.
