Not sure what part of the bay area your in, but I used this guy "Dings Plus" (408-461-0019).

Did a good job on a crease in my rear fender, mobile service so he came out, charged around $100. Supposedly does work at the dealer here in San Jose. Anyway he recognised it as a air cooled 993 when he saw it.

 

If you cannot get a good personal recommendation from here, try calling a local high-end car dealer and ask who they use.

I know of someone who does excellent work.

His name is Malcolm (Wilson, I believe), and he lives in Redwood City. My understanding is that various high-end body shops use him. I will try to dig up his information. My recollection is that his dba is (or his company is named) "The Dent Artist."

I have seen his work (and him at work) first-hand. He is a craftsman.

I've used a great guy who actually teaches some of the other dent folks. He's done work on my 993, Aston and E-type and all came out pretty much perfect. He'll come to you if you have enough for him to do otherwise you can arrange to meet him. He covers most of the Bay area. I'm out of town until later this week so I'll have to get back to you on his contact info.

 

Although I've never had to use him (knock on metal .. heh ..) I got a recommendation from another RL'r for Glen Mechado in San Jose 408-482-1150. He's mobile and I think his company is called Finish Line Painting.
