Davidson took the inside line down the Mulsanne Straight, when Perrazini turned into him.
Ouch

Unfortunately, reports indicate Davidson has two fractured vertebra.
Wishing him a SPEEDY recovery.

Lemans on HD was awsome. Congrats to Audi.
I love watching the race and pits at dusk and dawn. The superslow shots were awsome!!!
I do hope the delta wing makes it back next year. Looks so cool.

Ironically, TopGear had "spare" there.
Andy Saunders is trying to help us build a replica of the groundbreaking Le Mans racer, the Nissan DeltaWing.
Why? Because as you'll have read over the last weeks and months, we're massive fans. As well as potentially changing racing cars forever, the experimental jet-shaped racer is also utterly, deeply mental. Which is a Good Thing. So good in fact, that for some weeks now we've been pondering a plan with Nissan, which is only now coming to fruition.
We thought we'd join forces and pay homage to what could be a game-changing car by building our own road-going version. Then we're going to try and bring it along with us to the car parks as part of covering this year's race for TopGear.com and TG magazine. Just for fun, you understand - this isn't going to be hitting Mulsanne at any point, nor appear on TV.

Drifting
I was quite surprised that the LMP1 Audis were allowed to be so aggressive in their passing of the other class cars. It was sad to see the Deltawing "Batman" car go out so soon after the start of the race and the Corvette pit crew "Oh Oh!! Oh ****" moment when he forgot to install the wheel nut! Can't wait to see the Porsche 918 compete at LeMan.

Awesome race!
Funny to think just 10 years ago I was working in Venezuela during the race and my wife set and fed 6 hour VHS tapes into the VCR for the entire race for me to watch when I returned. How technology has advanced!
