I went with the natural finish to match the rest of the car's underside. Besides
for me it was all about the sound and that sound is AMAZING !!!! And can not
say enough good things about Darin.

Looks was only a very small part of having my Stage IIIs coated. I wanted the reduced radiated heat that resulted from the ceramic coating. After all I did remove my engine tray.

I went with the velvet black mufflers and tips. It's only been 4 months but the finish is holding up well. No problem ditching the heat shields. You can put your hand on them when the cars idling.

I can really appreciate the desire to reduce heat from the mufflers but has anyone taken a laser heat temp reading to see what the delta really is? If we're talking a couple of degrees then hardly seems with it. It's a fairly thin coating so not sure how effective it is, but what do I know.
