Default Nitto NT05 + 993 Cup II No Good?

I have a 993C4 with stock 17" Cup II's. I am up for a new set of tyres, and am keen on Nitto NT05's.

The Nitto NT-05 255 wide rears are within 1mm overall diameter when compared to Michelin PS2 OE, so seem suitable.
*
The front*tyres however only come in 235 wide, and 40 sidewall and therefore*are 11m less in overall diameter*than 45 sidewall Michelin OE fronts.

My question is, does this matter, play up with the 4WD system etc?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts

Diameter difference is a concern for AWD cars. There are some postings in the 993 and 993 turbo forum that provide more guidance. General wisdom is that there should not be any issues if you stay within 2% difference front vs rear. Some say 5% but there are plenty of options that fall within the 2% range.

Just do the math for your NT05s.
