Why risk damage to your vehicle by saving a few bucks? Stick with Porsche OEM.

Default Do not believe the hype!

This whole issue of using only Porsche filters is absurd. 993 turbos need a pair of check valves installed to prevent smoking. After that you can use any filter you want and the turbo car won't smoke.NA 993 can use any filter. If you change your oil every 3k you can replace the filters every other oil change.Don't believe the hype. The cars were designed to have 15k miles in-between oil changes for street use.The dual filter system on all 993's is redundant by design.

FWIW, 180k miles on factory filters with 15k between changes and quality synthetic. No oil burning yet.
