Disclaimer: I really apologize if this seems like I'm spamming since my company was the one that created this infographic. My intention is not to promote the company but more to promote the data/infographic itself to other car enthusiasts who watch TopGear UK. Anyways, now that's out of the way, my company made a TopGear (UK) infographic based on all the public laptime data for the cars they have reviewed for over a decade. Some of the comparisons are really interesting to see. Here's the link to the pdf

Interesting that a 996 GT3 RS at 1:27.2 from Season 3 laps slower than a MBZ CLS55 AMG at 1:26.9 in Season 6.

I don't think "Sacked Stig" ever did a very good job with the 911 based Porsches. New Stig seems to be better.
