Looking to upgrade my stock shifter to something a little more modern and black/aluminum colour combo versus current camel/tan well worn original.

Any suggestions? Much appreciated!!

I upgraded mine to a 997/987 shift **** and had a black leather boot custom made by Classic 9 Leather Shop. It is exactly as you want...black leather with aluminum. I posted some pics on here when I did it....Ill loook for them and link it in.

I have this shifter that Gert sells along with the matching parking brake handle in black. Both look great with a Classic Gray interior. The shifter is very nice and would be a good choice.

Take a look at the RothSport one. FDM sells one of the RothSport style ones modified to use with the SSK/Goldenrod kit they sell. This setup is the best on the market today. Much stronger than standard shifter.

Gert is extremely quick to deliver. He shipped me a bumper cover on Friday. It was on my midwestern doorway on Mon. afternoon via Fedex. You may have to get pre-approval by your credit card company for large overseas internet purchses. You will also get hit by an import tax bill later on.

+1 for the Rothsport shifter. I have a 964 shiftrod instead of Goldenrod. Only downside is the aluminum is cold in winter. Either way

I also have the Rothsport shifter matched with the Golden Rod. All was purchased from the guys at FD. They are great and recommended.
