No wires exposed and you can unplug it every time.No risk of battery drain like a hardwire install can cause.
I have my V1 mounted ON the roof! Only way to go.

always hardwired mine and never had a current drain, my V1 is mounted to the bottom of the third brake light and the remote is inside of the rear view mirror..

Which bearfinder is most popular here, I have an Old School Chips Detector but the think is too big for its own good.

Can you elaborate on how the V1 is fastened to the brake light? Any pics? I bot a stealth V1 box many years ago but can find a way to mount it without permanently putting holes in the headliner.

Thanks!

I go back to Fuzzbuster. They were crude and primitive until the first Escort came out. Valentine developed that one before starting his own company. Now I use V-1. Can honestly say I have never been picked up since an airplane got me in Minnesota in '78.

It is common sense, for sure! I feel that V-1 protects from the stupid tickets, places you simply don't expect to find smokey and although one may not be speeding purposely, the speed goes up and zap, you're had, especially in unfamiliar places.

I like the one that is built into the dash of every Porsche; it is right next to the RPM dial. Works reliably every time. Unfortunately until you learn how to use it, it will tend to alert you of a speed issue moments after you are caught.

Shared radar threat information - An Iphone App for that!

Speedtraps detected by your Valentine One radar locator are immediately shared with all RadarActive users. The speedtraps are mapped and displayed in the RadarActive application on your iPhone in real time. The data is crowd-sourced - everyone is a contributor, and the system becomes more fun with each user.

If that is anything like "escort live" than it is totally useless.

radaractive was a great idea, like escort live. live will never be successful until everone who runs an escort rd uses it. as for radaractive, the project has started to dwindle and devolopment has slowed down.
