Default Which GT3 Crank for 993 Engine Rebuild?

So I have been looking at GT3 cranks and oil pumps to create a bullet proof bottom end on my 993 engine rebuild, however I have noticed a number of different part numbers for GT3 cranks.

Does anyone know the differences between the following cranks and what if any issues could be faced with each?

996 102 021 95 - M97-77
996 102 021 94 - M97-76
996 102 021 92 - M96-79

Thanks in advance...

If you haven't already, this sounds like a post for Pelican's 911 engine rebuild forum.

Thanks Don, I did post over there. Here is the answer for prosperity and for those that are interested.

mbruns: The newest p/n is 996 102 021 95, the others superceded to this ( as of 2 weeks ago) cost was 1716.79.
mbruns: Steven, the GT3 cranks are pinned on the opposite side and have a smaller pin, the stock pulley is a serpentine, perhaps Clewett has an early style pulley for this conversion, the pankl Ti rods are 3.0 SC dimension and the GT3 rod bearings are a good choice, have some pistons made and enjoy !

Rothsport make a pulley that works with a GT3 crank. http://rothsport.com/Products/Engine...ft-Pulleys.htm

Steven, you might give Mike Callas at Rennsport a ring and discuss.

Just a question does the distributor and the chain drive fit normally or does the GT3 crank need to be modified?

Thanks,
Richard

Hi Richard,

One installs the 993 intermediate shaft and distributor drive gear on the GT-3 crank when doing this modification.
