For What Its Worth.... Motor Werks Racing in Cumming, GA is right around the corner so I used them for a 60K mi. service 3 years ago. I would never bring my road car there, maybe a 944 race car conversion etc. but not likely given my past experience.
On the 993 the work was sloppy and expensive. The sloppy work was a real turn off; from a lose valve cover to 3qts down on a cow path of an oil change service and the ignition wires replacement was just plain sloppy. MWR had a bad day, I'll give'em that.
Man that does sound like a bad day.

+1 - they did a lot of nice work with custom fabrication on my 993 but they're used to working on race cars and hold your car hostage for months. And yes, expensive. They also couldn't figure out a hesitation at 3k rpm that was really annoying. They told me the throttle body had to be rebuilt to compensate for a "vacumn diaphram issue"......in 5 minutes during a routine maintenance, hennessey Found that MWR broke 2 pins with the harness to the throttle body! Fixed the pins and solved the problem.

I'll be checking The FB shop out soon.

I highly recommend Cali Auto, Stockbridge, Ga. The owner's first name is Scott, he has almost 30 years of dealership maintenance experience, worked at Jim Ellis for many years and now has his own shop. He does excellent work at a great price (30-40% less than Atlanta dealerships), and Scott is a really super guy.
His website: www.caliauto.biz. Phone: 678-763-2642. Tell him Dean sent you.
