My horm honks when I break hard which is pretty silly at AX and DE events. I've read the threads about the possible fixes. I have a 1995 model, so replacement frame won't work. I can buy the bushings from Allzim, but the set of 4 is more expensive than the fame that comes with the 4 bushings.

So my question is: Has anyone succesfully removed the bushings from a new frame and installed them on an old frame? This seems like a cheaper option.

I don't like the rubber hose/silicon solution as it seems it would be prone to fail again.
