My new daily driver ('08 WRX STi) has wheels this color. I think they look great.

Well, the wheels are off, and going to the shop tomorrow. They should be done Friday, but it'll be next Sunday before I can think about getting them back on and pics taken. That'll be something to do while watching Indy.

Looking forward to seeing the finished wheels on the car. The Cup IIs look sooooo right on a properly set up 993 (euro height) and the "hyper-silver" finish will compliment the Midnight Blue perfectly.

Can you post the paint codes for the undercoat and the color coat? I've been trying to find a way to get them since I saw that color on Lexus' when they started using it a couple of years ago...

Go for it
Nathan will be re-finishing my Avant wheels in Hypersilver once i get the time to get him the wheels for 4 days.

cheers

I always like the hypersilver. Lots of Totota/Scion/Lexus use this color for their standard wheels. I had this done to mine but it's a little too light. They look better in the dark.

I picked them up this afternoon. They look great. I hung two on for a pic on the phone, but the lighting and phone don't allow for a good look. I'll mount them Sunday and take some better pics.

Bravo
Maya and I stopped by Velvet Touch to check them out and to help me decide if i really wanted to go hyper, or just stick with argent.
She clearly likes the hyper silver also.

Ed, I'm sure you'll enjoy your "new" cups.

Ed:

Classy touch to a period correct wheel.

It will definatley turn heads without getting up in their face.

Nice job.

I never knew that Ed was an LA starlet

Ed, I'd love to see the wheels on the car in normal light. I'm seriously thinking of going back to 17s.
