TO ALL: I've been collecting a nice set of photos for future calendars. What I find is that the "photography" does better than what I will call "snapshots". By that I mean a created, "artsy fartsy" kinda photo that features the car or cars in a setting with nature or some special man-made feature like a statue or building look really good in these calendars. "Snapshots" come from a picture taken in the dirveway with no real attempt at an artful presentation. I also steer clear of having people or other cars/trucks/boats. etc in the shot....this is primarily about the timelessness of the 993.

So, I'm looking for two things.

First if you have such a picture and have not given me permission for use, please send both to plohmeyer@woh.rr.com As always, no promises as to inclusion in the subsequent calendars.

Second, please do give me feedback as you see and ponder on the calendar; I really would like to hear your thoughts beyond, "Why wasn't Alice (car's name) included??!!"

They are all in the mail. Several went out today (including yours Andy), and most yesterday. For most (except Holland, Canada--we know that story all too well--and New Zealand) they should be there by the weekend.

If "Squeaky" is the car in your avatar it seems to me I have a nice "photograph" in the same pose and looks like it's in the same place, without the white stripe; is that possibly yours?

In any case there are now 10-12 calendars left and the sales have slowed considerably. At this rate I think we may have satisfied the Rennlist market and I may not place another order unless I get swamped with more.
