Koni FSD with ROW M030 - anyone done this? Extra: OT pix
Has anyone combined FSD's with ROW M030? If so, what do you think?
I've searched Rennlist and everywhere else until my eyes are almost bleeding but all I can find is references to the FSD / M033 match. This apparently works well (Carnewal even offers as a package), but in addition to ROW height I'd like to stray into the sportier side with M030.
I'm guessing the adaptive damping on the FSD "should" make an equally happy marriage with either the M033 or M030 spring rate. However my Scottish ancestry urges me to refrain from spending money until someone less risk averse tries it first.
BTW we recently returned from Europe... guess where we went and how we got there?

Bravo! A Porsche trifecta...of sorts. My trip to Gmund involved a 1 day round trip sprint via train, bus and foot, to get to the original factory site outside of town, from elsewhere in Austria. No wonder none of my family wanted to join me on my sidetrip/adventure! At least you drove there in style! I must admit, the Panamera has grown on me despite my initial reluctance to accept it... The Porsche Factory museum is spectacular....I took 300+ photos in an afternoon, with probably 30 of the 917 motor display alone.

I did that exact combo. I love the Koni shocks for my kind of driving: 95% street and 5% track. i went to the ROW Mo30 springs as I didn't want to lower the car too much, and worry about speed bumps and curbs and such.
I had the work and the corner balancing done professionally, tho some on this list have done the work and then taken it out to be balanced.
Good luck,
Gary

doberdog - please post your pics as I'm on the fence whether to go this setup or not.
Someone needs to take the plunge for the group...haha!

I had this done on my 95' coupe. I really loved the compliant ride and planted feeling when pushed. I only put a few thousand miles on the car before I sold it to a fellow RLer. He may chime in here, since he has used the car quite a bit more since then.

You should email Gert with Carnewal. He sells both springs. I purchased my M033 and Koni FSD's from him. I like the set up but there are times I wonder how the M030's would feel. Our roads in Dallas are crappy concrete so I went more towards a comfort set up. There are times I would like to move the needle slightly towards the sporty spectrum vs the comfort (wish I had a magic sport button to push like the newer cars). I am sure the M030 will provide a firmer ride but I don't know how much if any comfort will be sacrificed. I am also curious to hear from those who have the M030's with the Koni's.
