Well over. Any POS RS is pushing that number now. And to think I could have had my pick of the litter for--$15K, $20K, $50K, $100K (pick your year, and go Back To The Future in Doc's time machine)............

The slope cab is Cassis Red. An old girlfriend of mine really lusted after that color. Actually two did, but the one I built a 930 for would have been continually reminded of the other if I did hers that color. (Ended up being Amazon Green.)

And the "934" thing above? Well, seems they are are still out there, and they only come out at night or Porsche events. Did we do some weird stuff in the '80s, or what?

Glad everyone enjoyed. Have to make it back there sometime. But that would mean a trip to the in-laws.

So many cool cars & RLers - what a perfect day!
From the drive out with Ilko, PorscheZen, & others, to pulling in at the second Cactus & his crowd were walking by planning to leave, but then moving the Cactuswagon over just so the kids could play

...to finally catching up in person with Steve, after we'd just missed each other at Manhattan's Javits Center!
Steve-- I really had a blast meeting you, too. Big thanks for hanging out 'til I arrived. Simply amazing to get to put so many (screen) names to faces.
I'm quickly learning that RLers rock from coast to coast.

The whole day was surreal & fun, especially when this guy pulled up where Ryan had parked, just to check out Speedy.
I was a long ways away. When I finally walk over, we end up chatting intensely about my ride. I eventually say, 'we should be talking your amazing RS, not my bucket of bolts.'

^^ He spoke the Speedster language fluently, & was flabbergasted by the rare Recaro Speedster bucket seats, asking how I found them.

...then I learn he's the proud father of two '89 Speedsters.
I knew I liked him! Great guy.

Speaking of twos, I think he was just there to enjoy a 'nice pair' of 993s

Definitely too bad you didn't make it - you were missed. I know logistics & weather didn't help.
Luckily, there was a brief slice of sun over Hershey ...then it was back to raining by that afternoon.
