Anyone have experience with Eagle lifts? Looking at this one http://www.eagleequip.com/product/MTP-9A.html $1750 delivered. I found one used on CL for $1300 but Id rather go for the new one at that price. Thoughts?

I think Topp Racing went with Eagle for their entire shop.

Ed,
Can you wiggle a transmission out using the scissor lift?

It's been a while but I am pretty sure the lifts at my last shop were Eagle 2 post assymetrics. Honestly I have never used a "bad" lift.

I still had the Bend-Pak scissor lift when I dropped my engine/tranny last year, you need to cut the rear crossbar to get the tranny down. Not a big deal, the lift (and car) are plenty stable w/out that crossbar.

I've done 911's, but not the 993. When I do, I'm going to modify the crossbar.
