Default Rear Seat Delete

Has anyone created a set of measurements for a RSD that they could share?

Specifically, I'd like to see the drawings for the top and front pieces.

Someone has a mold for the front piece and they posted in my R S D thread. I have the original top piece that I shaped for the coupe and it is going to Andreas's houser tomorrow.

You should take a trace of the top piece (for the coupe) and make it available... I have some Baltic Birch ply looking for a good home!

I basically circled all crucial holes and laid the old piece on top of the new one and drilled.

As said before and beaten like a dead horse......the front section and doors/middle panel are NLA from Porsche and are a little more technical than you would think. IMO you can duplicate a Cup version or whatever the one was without doors but nobody is going to duplicate an accurate RSD.

And I will add that I have experience because I tore the thing down to the ground and rebuilt it. It was not all that enjoyable but I am very happy with the final product.

Default I also did a complete tear down

and complete color change. (it was dark blue when I bought it).
I also made an interface for the inside light and the electrical locking to function.
I agree that is it a much more complicated piece than it would first appear.
I have heard of simple rear seat delete copies..some not so bad.
In a prior car (86 911) I removed the rear seat and re-carpeted the back...no shelf...but it did the job.
The actual factory harware is the "correct" way to go and they are out there, though getting pricey.
