How much gas do you put in your car?
I was filling up yesterday and thought " Am I alone in thinking that I can feel a performance difference when the tank is all full ?" I have rarely put any more than 10 gallons of gas in any of my Porsches for the last 18 years, only when going on long trips do I completely fill the tank. It's what I do, how bout you guys?

Always try to keep the tank full, handles better then empty tannk.
My dd is a 2002 Suburban, once I was told the fuel tank is cool by the fuel,if you run with 1/4 tank or less regularly, you will burn up the pump.

i just keep using the whole tank - from full to empty. It interesting to see the dynamics of the car change with the weight change.
Then again, with a Turbo, it does not take that long to get from full to empty!! If I tried to keep it at 1/4 tank, I would be at the station every day....
Cheers,
Mike

Always taken to "full" on all my vehicles for two reasons; 1) I like to keep track of my fuel consumption and 2) I hate stopping at gas stations more often than I need to.
For example, I won't touch a motorcycle unless it can do 300 miles to a filling; on cars that never seems to be an issue during normal use.

I really feel for the guys on the other side of the pond.
Super Plus (98) is roughly €2.00 per liter in Italy, so a full tank of gas would run €142 or US$185 per fill-up...and even more if you filled with V-Power 100.

i always fill completely and drive to almost empty...filled her up today for 1.94 EUR/ltr!
Today i refilled at 1/2 because injection cleaner was added...i paid ~70 euros for half a tank....it is a very sad situation here in our little country

I have no idea the purpose of this thread, what anyone would get out of it, but I'm so utterly bored today, have nothing better to do so I'm responding with my answer.
So, I get in my car, drive it till it's almost completely out of gas, then I refill it to totally full. Why would we do anything else, unless we were financially strapped and couldn't afford to fill it to the rim with Brim? Is there some reason to only fill it halfway? I never noticed any difference at all with a full tank vs. empty, handling wise, though - it's not something I ever thought of either, till now.
Hmmm, it's now become a slightly, infinitesimally more interesting thread to me now.
