Default Any interest in trading a Fister II for an RSR mufflers?

Hi all,

I have the Robin Sun RSR mufflers on my 993 C4S. They are well regarded, louder than stock, and provide an enhanced sound. I would like something louder, and want to gauge whether anybody desires something slightly quieter than Fister II or Fister IIIs but still want a growl.

Let me know if there's interest. I'm in So. California.

I've had both RSR and Stage II Fisters (and factory sound package) and I think that the Fisters are by far the best. Less drone than RSR at highway speeds. I still might want stage IIIs!

I have RSR's on my Dach X-pipes and the sound is awesome and no drone. I have tried the Fisters III on the X-pipes and that combo was super loud sounding like a V8 in a mustang.
I am curious to the sound of the Fisters II on the X-pipes? Anyone running this combo?

Aren't the RSRs much lighter than the Fisters Stage II?

I have a similar setup and love it (Fabspeed pipes & RSR's). I get comments about how good it sounds all the time. since the OP is in CA, he probably can't get away without the cats though.

Thanks all, especially for Mark's post about the weight. I didn't realize that the RSR is the lightest.

Anybody interested?

Can you elaborate? Sounds as loud as a V8 mustang or sounds just like a big ol' V8?

Mark, since the Stage IIs are lighter than stock, does that mean that they have been opened up and not just had the external bypass pipe put in? We were having a discussion about it last weekend. What about the old Stage I's? Did they just have a bypass pipe added, or were they opened up and massaged internally? Sorry for the hijack.

Stage I-External bypass only
Stage II-external bypass and internal modifications
Stage III-Complete internal rebuild

I have some LPMM's which are about half way to the II's that I would consider adding some cash to if that would work for you? Also can you describe when the 'drone' occurs on the RSR's?
