Plan on keeping mine indefinitely. I've spent a bunch making it "my own" and can't imagine enjoying a car more.

I have thought many times about a Ferrari, and the more I think about it, the more it's a laughable alternative.

And for some Easter holiday content...

I honestly don't know. But using my ownership of my '73 911T as a guage, I would say at least 24 years...

Who knows.
As a currently unemployed physician, who never drives his 993, it's a consideration.
Along with several other "things" in my life, the car is just a possession. That said, every time I drive it, I have a huge grin on my face.

BTW - take the LSAT or get an advanced business degree & learn fluent Mandarin and Spanish. Doctor work isn't that great right now, and doesn't look to be that "profitable" for the future...

I did all these great upgrades...it is short of an outlaw but way better than stock.
I own it free and clear and have a RELATIONSHIP with my 993.
The longer I have it the more I enjoy it, the more certain I am that I will "never" sell it.

Why are you contemplating selling yours?

A sweet deal on a 993 Turbo S would be the only way I would consider letting mine go short of a personal economic tragedy (the 401K and IRAs would go first). This is my fourth 911 (second 993) and to me there is nowhere left to go other than the Turbo S.

My 1996 993 is a keeper. I've owned it since 1997. My 21 year old son has eyes on it ("Not yet, son, but keep dreaming") Maybe one day I will add to the stable but I don't expect to replace.

Really liked and miss my 965 turbo so if one of those came up or maybe a 993 turbo I might sell but otherwise I can't think of a better example of the last aircooled 911 to hold on to.

I think Ilko said it best though. Good luck.

I kept my last 911 for 25 years and 245,000 miles. A 1971 911T Targa.

My 1995 C4 is just short of 100,000, so it's well broken in. I plan on driving it until I'm too old to press the fob.

Hi

No contest, plus the 330 is going to remind you not to do a project like that again on such a car every time you see it. Sell the 330.

I have invested a lot of time and energy in my 993 (also money) and I would not sell it unless I absolutely had to.

The real estate market notwithstanding, when I sell my 993, it will be a "sale from the crypt".

I Am sorry about your current situation but I wouldnt understand why you would be unemployed as a physician considering there is a shortage? At least in Fl there is. I enjoy medicine, and I wouldn't do it solely for the money. I also grew up in that environment so at least im not going in blindly as well.

I have to sell it for garage space and the fact that both cars are going to loose value in the future.
I'm not so sure the 993 will lose value. I am pretty certain the 330 will. To me the choice is simple. Keep the Porsche. My son will get mine when the time comes.

Default Not selling any of mine, ever.

I own three 993's and they will be with me until I go. For those of you that think the turbo is the pinical, think again. For daily driving and all around fun I will take my NB NA 993(RS clone) over my turbo any day and every day. The turbo simply brings to much attention , takes to much concentration and is not as much fun to drive as the two wheel drive car. The NA engine with proper gearing is far more exploitable for back road hooliganism.
