It may be worth asking your main Porsche dealer for them, they have changed number to 99355198001 and are listed in the UK at £253 or about $400 a set

The turbo S ones are also listed and are £5 cheaper!!

Want a group buy from UK guys?

On further investigation it would seem you are correct Mr Pirata

Porsche have superceeded the Carrera 4S set back to the Carrers set! Bit sneaky!

That may be true if it was unused.... but I doubt it. Mine has a few scratches and is worth half what I paid.

Good luck with your sale.

I make it a point to not bash another Rennlister's wares, for I would like that same courtesy extended to me. Way back before most of you were members and when John D. set the tone of this discussion board, that was the etiquette here. I would like to think that that has not died off.

Sage words, friends. If you've been here a while, you'd know that's the right way to go. I have fond memories of like-minded folks, some dearly departed, right back to when this was an email list.

If it's a screaming deal, it will be sold within minutes.

If it's a good deal, you'll have all kinds of folks chiming in with "Great deal, GLWS" and it will sell within a few days.

If it's overpriced, it won't sell. No comments necessary. If you want to buy it at a lower price, send a PM and make an offer.

Pretty simple, no?

PS - I have a whack of 993 crap to list for sale soon. Some will be cheap, some will be over-priced. Whilst not an economist, I like to think I'll be able to figure things out on my own...

I unreservedly apologize. I have spent too much time on 4x4 forums that have much lower standards of etiquette. I saw the description and was hoping for a $200 price.

You'd think.

Amazingly, some people will pay ridiculous prices (price vs cost) for some things and won't even bitch...some will even bow at the ankles in thanks. Go figure.

Geezee you would think. And yes there are some here that still "get it".

After Adam chimed in that he already had them that is basically what happened.

A respected member expressed interest via PM. I respectfully replied. Within 2 minutes we had a deal. Within 5 minutes I received his PayPal payment. They will ship tomorrow when I return from a business trip.

Yes Jim; 4 pages and 1850 views. Wow!

Mark from Baltimore; thank you for chiming in. I kid you not. I kept wondering if we would hear from you as I wanted some of your wisdom and knowledge in this thread to attempt to right the ship.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful journey. Even the haters made it fun.

Cheers boys and girls.

This is a class act post.

I'm happy to have nudged this in the right direction. The only reason I even ventured into this thread was because I was wondering why a simple discussion on door sill plates had almost 50 posts.

Hopefully, in the future, other people will be able to understand that it's really poor form to **** on another Rennlister's For Sale thread (unless your name is CROME) and, hopefully, other people will not be afraid to call others out for derailing a Rennlister-in-good-standing's attempt to sell something.

Congrats on the sale.
