I have an authentic Porsche cover that I can part with. Bought it from another RL'r a couple of years ago but really don't use it. (I have to be able to see the car at all times!)

PM me if you are interested.

I'm very happy with the Coverking Stretch Satin indoor cover. Its ultra soft on the inside.

Another very nice cover appears to be the one sold by Carnewal.

The custom fit indoor Porsche covers are great
Model specific, fit like a glove, very soft lining

And well under $300

I've been thinking a couple of flannel sheets cut to size would work better then anything. Less likely to scratch the paint and easy to launder. It seems to me the more form fitting the more likely to cause distress to perfect wax job. I'm serious.

^are you serious?
couldn't resist...actually sounds like a cheap and easy way to go. But, I think if you are gentle the wax will make it out alive...

I went with the Coverking Stretch Satin cover for this winter's storage and it worked beautifully. No scratches and really looked nice on the vehicle. I was impressed at the quality and how much material was used. It covered the entire vehicle and went way under. The cover even went to the bottom of my wheels.

I've used a king size sheet for years. Cut the fitted sheet in half, sew one end to the flat sheet and overlap the other end of the fitted sheet for the length you want. I think mine has about a four inch overlap on one end. Very easy to handle off and on and throw it in the washer every couple of weeks. I prefer it over a tight fitting cover for the rear areas that get dirty between washings.

Sunset says Porsche no longer makes an Indoor car cover for the 993. An Outdoor version is available for $166.75 plus shipping. All I've ever seen is the grey outdoor version. Anyone have the Indoor version?

Porsche does not make car covers.

You won't go wrong with a Coverking or the one from Carnewal.

I'm not in favor of flannel-lined car covers. Once dust/dirt gets to the flannel, it becomes more of a detriment than an attribute. For long term storage, I use the COVERKING Stormproof. It's lightweight, breathable, no-scratch fabric.

I've used the Noah fabric cover for years for indoor purposes. I've never had a problem, and reasonably priced.
