I have been thinking of doing a re-gear, but if that whine (NVH) is typical of what a G50 sounds like with new cogs, then that is not for me. That car looks like fun though

So you wanna know how some of us started with 911s? This is just a modern day, high dollar, built-to-a-set-of-obscure-rules, big engined version. Roll stiff in the front, skinny tires in the rear........toss it into the corners in an autocross-y situation like this track and ride the slip angle!
(Someone can correct me, but I'm not entirely sure the shifting experience of a good G50 would be inferior to the straight cuts that are in this 915. For most of us. Who, if paying his own bills and in a non-competitive environment, will benefit from a non-clutch shift? Again, merely because this set of rules requires only the original transaxle case.)

The only thing missing is the pop off whistle of the turbo...THAT IS WHAT A TRUE RALLY CAR SOUNDS LIKE AT FULL SONG FOLKS!
That vid is beautiful. How in the hell could the sound of that EVER get old? You guys must all have stock mufflers on your cars too.
