In some ways I agree with Ken, but I do love these cars. I suppose the final decision on where to blow $150k (I think that is the base model-I've seen reports of $250k if you start checking the options boxes) would be predicated on what the resale value is.

It would seem a '73 RS or any long hood S is, or has been lately, a fairly safe investment. What about the Singer? Have they got enough buzz to where they don't depreciate all to hell, if you had to dump yours in a year, to free up some cash when a used 918 Spyder became available in your neighborhood?

The Singer is the modern interpretation of of the '73 RS....at the same approximate price range. Long term the "real deal" will win out as an investment but who's going to use an RS as a daily driver? The Singer may not be at the top of my list but it's certainly in the Top 10.

I'd not use the Singer or an RS as a DD-but I'd drive them the same amount, I believe.
