Default Technique to remove clock?

I need to run some wires for my radar detector behind the dash. The easiest access is to remove the clock.

What is the best technique for doing this?

the clock is just press fit with a rubber sleeve into the dash. just take a popsicle stick or other relatively soft and non sharp item and work it under the rubber lip and slowly pry it up moving around the clock a bit at a time

good luck

I used a large screw driver with the tip covered with duct tape.

You may find it easier to remove the speedo first and then push the clock out from behind. The larger diameter of the speedo tends to give you more to work around.
